Overview
The Sun Princess is the first of the Sphere Class of cruise ships from Princess Cruises, followed by sister ship Star Princess. Built in 2024, the Sun Princess offers exciting cruises to the Caribbean and Europe.
This mega ship offers the most balconies and sun decks on any Princess ship, as well as the most luxury. One of the most noticeable new features is The Dome, a glass-enclosed structure on the top of the ship, where guests can enjoy ocean views and plenty of sun. Brand new dining venues, as well as Princess classic favorites, make their debut on Sun Princess.
Sun Princess brings another first to Princess by being the first LNG (liquefied natural gas) vessel for the cruise line and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Cabin Options
The Sun Princess cruise ship has 2,157 cabins and suites with space for up to 4,300 passengers. Room service is available 24-hours a day in all staterooms on board the Sun Princess. All rooms include samples of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.
Interior Stateroom
Size: 136 to 145 sq. ft.
Occupancy: Up to 2 guests
Interior staterooms are budget-friendly and feature two twin beds or a queen-size bed, a refrigerator, hair dryer, TV, closet and bathroom with shower.
Oceanview Stateroom
Size: 212 sq. ft.
Occupancy: Up to 2 guests
Oceanview staterooms has a window for natural light and an ocean view. This cabin features two twin beds that convert to a queen-size, a private bathroom with shower, television, refrigerator, hair dryer, safe, closet, phone and desk.
Balcony Stateroom
Size: 179 to 279 sq. ft.
Occupancy: Up to 4 guests
Balcony staterooms are a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the ship, featuring private balconies, private bathrooms, and amazing views. Balcony staterooms give guests room to relax with accommodations for up to four.
Mini-Suite
Size: 303 sq. ft.
Occupancy: Up to 4 guests
Mini-Suites feature a private balcony, floor-to-ceiling glass doors, a refrigerator, a separate sitting area with sofa bed & coffee table, and a complimentary welcome glass of Champagne on embarkation day.
Sky Suite
Size: 1,262
Occupancy: Up to 5 guests
The largest, more premium stateroom on Star Princess. Sky Suites include extra living space with sofa bed, two bedrooms, two bathrooms - one with a full bath with tub and separate shower, plus upscale amenities like floor-to-ceiling glass doors, flat-screen TVs, and 24-hour room service. Suites also include spacious closets, a balcony with 2 chairs and table, and a digital security safe.

Entertainment & Activities
There are many fun things to do onboard Sun Princess. Enjoy the colorful atmosphere in the largest-ever casino offered by Princess, take in a musical or stage show at the Princess Arena, or enjoy a refreshing cocktail at one of many bars and lounges — including the Crooners Martini Bar, where you can sing along with the piano player while sipping one of their signature martinis.
If you are traveling with children, there are dedicated kids' and teens' rooms where they can hang out with friends and have some fun. Let your kids chill out at the splash pad or test their game skills at the Neon Grove. For a child-free experience, visit the luxuriously peaceful Sanctuary Club, a tranquil retreat reserved for adults.
For more active interests, The Lotus Spa Fitness Center offers fitness programs to counter the effects of delicious 24-hour dining! Check our the SkyDeck Sports Court & Track for a friendly game of pickleball or a run. If you prefer relaxation, The Dome offers covered lounging so you can enjoy the outdoors during any kind of weather.
