Overview

Celebrity Cruises states they didn't find your happy place; they built it - with the fifth ship in the Celebrity Edge series: Celebrity Xcel. Celebrity Xcel is full of classic Edge features as well as new spaces, experiences, and further blurring of the line between ship and sea. Like her sister ships, Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Beyond, and Celebrity Ascent, Celebrity Xcel features the Magic Carpet, a moving platform that reaches the top deck and entertains passengers with music and refreshments. The dining options are extensive, with 32 venues offering everything from BBQ favorites to Mediterranean specialties to fine steakhouse dining. This ship has three types of rooms, including staterooms, suites, and villas, and has room for 3,260 passengers.

Suites on Xcel are available in a range of sizes and some have 2 rooms. All feature private verandas, ample living space, including a sitting area, TV. Ample wardrobe space, plush bathrobes and towels, hair dryer, premium bath products, safe, and more. Access to private, specialty dining venues and exclusive services come with suites.

Entertainment & Activities

From the moment you walk onboard you know you’re in for an amazing vacation aboard Celebrity Xcel. New to the line is The Bazaar. This space is a celebration of the local culture and flavors you’ll be cruising to, with lively music, entertainment, drinks and food. The Club offers entertainment from art classes and shows during the day, to DJs and live music at night. The Attic at The Club debuts on Xcel, offering a variety of games from arcade classics to pool or darts.

Hit the Vegas-style casino, browse the name-brand goods at the Celebrity Shops, or explore the various treatments and wellness programs offered at The Spa. There is not a bad seat in the house at The Theater, featuring state-of-the-art technology that makes every performance come alive.

Take a ride on the Magic Carpet - a floating platform that can change its location and reach up to 13 stories above sea level-for great views, live music, refreshing drinks, and dinner over the sea. Take a walk in the Rooftop Garden, which extends over the water's edge, for more fantastic ocean views. The adults-only Solarium is a glass-domed pool area with rows of loungers to relax, read a book, or maybe grab a few ZZZ’s.
