Overview

The namesake of their "Jewel Class," the Norwegian Jewel accommodates up to 2,368 guests and offers some of the largest suites at sea to accommodate any size party from couples to families. Other cruise ships in the Jewel Class include Norwegian Pearl, Norwegian Jade and Norwegian Gem.

The Jewel, built in 2005, underwent a complete refurbishment in the summer of 2014 and again in 2025. Cabin Options

There are many cabin options for guests to choose from, including the ultra-luxurious Haven Suites, club balcony, balcony, interior, and ocean view cabins.

Inside Stateroom

Size: 138 to 278 sq. ft.

Occupancy: 2 to 4

Inside staterooms have two lower beds which can be turned into a queen size bed and include extra bedding options to accommodate up to four guests. Passengers in the inside staterooms have access to many cruise ship amenities including room service.

Oceanview Stateroom

Size: 138 to 161 sq. ft.

Occupancy: 2 to 4

These cabins offer guests spectacular ocean viewing options from either a porthole or picture window. Each oceanview cabin has two lower beds that convert to queen size, and extra pull-down or sofabeds, perfect for three to four guests.

Balcony Stateroom

Size: 200 to 289 sq. ft.

Occupancy: 2 to 4

Has a private balcony sitting area, inside sitting area and two lower beds that convert to queen size. Some cabins also have a Pullman bed or sleeping sofa for room for up to four guests.

Club Balcony Suite

Size: 272 to 416 sq. ft.

Occupancy: 2 to 4

Offers extra space for guests traveling with children or up to four passengers. These suites have a large, private balcony, inside sitting area, bath with shower and two lower beds that convert to a queen-size bed.
