Epic Universe: Florida's Newest Theme Park Lives Up to Its Name

Epic Universe is the newest addition to Orlando’s list of attractions. The first major U.S. theme park to open in 26 years is a 750-acre park that costs $7.7 billion and recently had its grand opening on May 22nd.

From immersive experiences and themed worlds to state-of-the-art tech integration, here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll find at Epic Universe to get you excited about your next Florida vacation.

Epic Universe Layout 

Orlando’s largest and most expensive theme park has a slick design concept. The entire park is made to look like a spoke-and-wheel, keeping each world completely separate from the rest, adding to the immersive experience.

1. Celestial Park

After walking through the Chronos Portal (the 30-foot main gate), you'll arrive at Celestial Park—the central hub of Epic Universe. There, you'll find:

• Stardust Racers: A thrilling double-launch coaster to get you into the mood.
• Constellation Carousel: The star of the Milky Way on spinning celestial animals.
• Access to the Four Worlds: Portals to one of the park’s four principal worlds. 
• Helios Grand Hotel: Perfect for those with multi-day passes.

2. Super Nintendo World

Between Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country, you don’t just get to play your favorite Nintendo games in this world—you get to be in them!

• Bowser’s Challenge: A state-of-the-art AR-enhanced, interactive dark ride.
• Mine-Cart Madness: A high-speed coaster with a side-jumping track.

3. Wizarding World: Harry Potter & the Ministry of Magic

Wizarding World takes guests on an adventure through time from the Fantastic Beasts to Harry Potter. The immersive hybrid world has everything to delight and dazzle fans of fantasy and magic. 

• Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry: The headliner ride of Wizarding World takes guests through a tunnel from 1920s Paris into 1990s London.
