Carnival Spirit
Overview
Built in 2001, Carnival Spirit is the first of five Spirit Class ships by Carnival Cruise Line, later joined by sister ships Legend, Pride, Miracle, and Luminosa. Previously based in Australia, Spirit returned to North America and offers sailings in Alaska, the Caribbean, the Mexican Riviera, and the Panama Canal. The refurbished ship has room for up to 2,132 passengers and 930 crew members.
Carnival Spirit offers many Bahamas and Caribbean itineraries that include a stop at Celebration Key, Carnival Cruise Line's exclusive destination on Grand Bahama. Enjoy relaxing on the beach, chilling at the swim-up bar, or watching the kids splash in the pool. Over 30 dining and bar locations, as well as live music, shopping, and many more experiences (swimming with dolphins, anyone?), make for a fun-filled day at this Bahamian paradise.
