When I need a getaway to a place with palm trees, Caribbean sun, and cobblestone streets, Puerto Rico comes to mind instantly. The island offers something for every style of traveler, from centuries-old fortresses to postcard-worthy beaches. With a shifting landscape of rugged cliffs, tropical rainforests, and colonial architecture, first-time visitors are often overwhelmed by everything this location has to offer.
