Overview
The Carnival Elation was built in 1998 and refurbished in 2017. She received the Fun 2.0 treatment as part of Carnival Cruise Line's $500 million initiative. Upgrades on this ship, which has room for 2,190 guests and 900 crew members, include new casual dining options, poolside bars, and more.

Cabin Options
Grand Suite
Size: 330 sq. ft.
Occupancy: Sleeps up to 5 guests
Grand Suites feature a 70 sq. ft. private furnished balcony, a king-size bed, walk-in closet, private bathroom with whirlpool tub, and living room with desk, vanity, drawer space, and either a single or double sofa bed.
Junior Suite
Size: 220 sq. ft.
Occupancy: Sleeps up to 3 guests
Junior Suites feature a 30 sq. ft. private furnished balcony, a king-size bed, walk-in closet, private bathroom with whirlpool tub, and living room with desk, vanity, drawer space, and either a single or double sofa bed.
Junior Suite Obstructed View
Size: 220 sq. ft.
Occupancy: Sleeps up to 3 guests
Junior Suites (Obstructed View) are 220 sq .ft. with a 30 sq. ft. balcony, sleep up to three guests and have views that are partly obstructed by the ship’s lifeboats or other structures. Suites have a king-size bed, walk-in closet, private bathroom with whirlpool tub, and living room with desk, vanity, drawer space, and either a single or double sofa bed.
Balcony Stateroom

Occupancy: Sleeps up to 4 guests
Features a 35 sq. ft. balcony, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, two twin beds that convert to a queen-sized bed, a private bathroom with shower, and a living area with vanity and seating.
Ocean View Stateroom

Occupancy: Sleeps up to 5 guests
Ocean view rooms have a large picture window, twin beds that convert to a queen-size bed, closet and storage space, a bathroom with shower plus a living area for comfortable lounging while relaxing in your cabin. Some rooms have upper, Pullman-style bunk beds.
Interior Porthole Stateroom

Interior Porthole Staterooms feature two porthole windows, have two twin beds that convert to a queen-size bed, closet and storage space, a bathroom with shower plus a living area with vanity and seating.

These rooms have two twin beds that convert to a queen-size bed, closet and storage space, a bathroom with shower plus a living area with vanity and seating. Rooms equipped with bunk beds sleep more passengers.

Rooms have a single twin bed, plus an upper bunk bed with room for two guests, closet and storage space, a bathroom with shower plus a living area with vanity and seating.

Once you’re feeling refreshed, head to SportSquare to take on the ropes at SkyCourse, shoot some hoops at the basketball court, or blow off some steam with punching bags.
