The Cloud 9 Spa staterooms are the perfect place for rest and relaxation and include priority access to all spa services such as unlimited use of both the thermal suite and thalassotherapy pool. Spa cabins are available in Interior, Ocean View, Balcony and Suite Staterooms.
There are 15 different room and suite options on the Carnival Splendor by Carnival Cruise Lines and standard amenities include a flat-screen TV, telephone, minibar, hair dryer and bathrobes.
Interior Staterooms are 185 sq ft and offer an affordable cruise ship vacation for one to two passengers.
Interior Staterooms (Bunkbeds) are 185 sq ft, have a twin bed and either a pulldown bunk bed or a sleeper sofa with room for up to three passengers.
Interior Porthole Staterooms, with 220 sq ft of living space, are a bit larger than other interior rooms, have two small windows for viewing the ocean and sleep two to three guests.
Interior Staterooms with Picture Window are 185 sq ft, have a picture window with partially obstructed views of the ocean and have two twin beds that convert to a queen-size bed. Rooms equipped with bunk beds or a sofa bed sleep up to four guests.
Cloud 9 Spa Interior Staterooms are 185 sq ft, have room for two to four guests and include unlimited access to the spa’s thermal suite and thalassotherapy pool.
Ocean View Staterooms range in size from 185 to 230 sq ft, sleep two to three guests, have two twin-beds that convert to a queen-size bed and feature a large picture window offering spectacular ocean views.
Cloud 9 Spa Ocean View Staterooms are 220 sq ft, have a picture window for partial views of the ocean, sleep three to four guests and include special access and priority reservations to Cloud 9 Spa.
Balcony Staterooms are 185 sq ft with 35 sq ft private balconies and have either two twin beds or a queen-size bed with space for two to four guests.
Aft-View Extended Balcony Staterooms are 185 sq ft with a large 60 sq ft fully furnished balcony and three closets to store all your gear. Aft-view rooms have a comfortable seating area that includes a sofa and coffee table and sleep two to three guests.
Cloud 9 Spa Balcony Staterooms are 185 sq ft, have a sliding glass door leading to a 35 sq ft balcony, twin beds that can be converted to a queen-size bed and priority access to the Cloud 9 Spa.
Premium Balcony Staterooms are 185 sq ft, have a floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door leading to a 75 sq ft balcony, two twin beds that convert to queen-size and sleep two to four guests.
Cloud 9 Spa Suites offer 275 sq ft of living space with a 65 sq ft balcony. These suites have a king-size bed, walk-in-closet and whirlpool tub plus private access to all spa facilities and complimentary fitness classes.
Junior Suites are 275 sq ft, have a 35 sq ft balcony and offer comfortable living for two to four guests. Junior Suites come with upgraded features such as spacious bathrooms, walk-in-closets, king-size beds and whirlpool tubs.
Ocean Suites are 275 sq ft with 65 sq ft balconies and cabins that have a sofa bed have room for three to four guests. These suites have a king-size bed, whirlpool tub and walk-in-closet.
Grand Suites sleep up to four guests with 345 sq ft of space and a large 85 sq ft balcony. They have a king-size bed, walk-in-closet, whirlpool tub and a living room with a desk and double sofa bed.
Entertainment & Activities
There are many exciting options for entertainment on board Carnival Splendor by Carnival Cruise Lines. Adults can take in a comedy show at the El Morocco Lounge, play a game of chance at the Royal Flush Casino or listen to jazz music at The Cool.
Children will lose track of time at the ship's Splash Park or enjoy a thrill ride on the Carnival Twister Waterslide. Enjoy a dip in one of the ship’s many pools including the midship pool with it’s interesting retractable roof. If you’re traveling with family or a large group, and you can’t decide what everyone wants to eat, then check out the many dining options on the Lido Deck. The main buffet is located here and special dining options include a stir-fry station, NY-style deli, pizza and an Indian Tandoor grill. Room service is available 24 hours for private, in-suite dining any time of day or night.
The Black Pearl is one of two formal dining rooms on the Carnival Splendor. The Black Pearl is open for dinner with a choice of fixed seating at either 6 p.m. or 8:15 p.m.
The Gold Pearl, serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner, is the larger of the ship’s two formal dining rooms. The Gold Pearl serves up hearty cuisine like smoked salmon with cream cheese, Belgian waffles, BBQ baby-back ribs and panko-crusted shrimp.
Food at the California Roll, open from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., is free and offers a choice of succulent sushi and delicious tapas.
If you are feeling a bit indulgent, book a reservation to eat at the Chef’s Table. Prepared by the ship’s master chef, this $75 experience will get you up close and personal to the ship's galley while feasting on a multi-course gourmet meal.
The ship’s Coffee Bar serves up hot coffee, iced tea, milkshakes and many sweet treats including cookies and cakes.
Mongolian Wok lets guests pile their bowls full of vegetables, noodles or rice before handing them off to one of the stir-fry artists. Chefs will finish your creation with your choice of meat and sauces, enjoy!
The Pinnacle Steakhouse, at $35 per person, offers steak with all the trimmings plus rich appetizers like escargot, beef carpaccio and tuna tartare.
Enjoy classic breakfast and lunch creations, along with a few surprises such as Flamin’ Tomatoes Soup at Seaday Brunch.
Tandoor Grill, near the Lido deck buffet, offers classic Indian cuisine including tandoori chicken and other favorites.
The Taste Bar, with its menu that changes daily, offers small plates and yummy appetizers like fried sweet potato filled with ginger-scented pork, alongside a lime aioli and pepper pot with cilantro sour cream.
