Entertainment & Activities
They say that getting there is half the fun, but on The Gauguin we think that the journey is the best part. Experience local culture with Les Gauguines and Les Gauguins, our troupe of Tahitian hosts and entertainers, spend your evenings swaying to the beat in Le Salon, or spin the roulette wheel in Le Casino and Piano Bar.
You can also spend the day soaking up the sun in the pool or sipping a drink from the pool bar. Or maybe you’d rather have a relaxing massage? Our spa and fitness centers are the perfect place to enjoy some “me-time.” And if you’re travelling with your family, m/s Paul Gauguin provides the Ambassadors of the Environment Family Program for children ages 9 to 17.
Have a sumptuous dining experience at any of our onboard restaurants. Designed by award-winning chefs and maintained by our attentive staff, all dining options are included in your cruise fare. So treat your taste buds as you sample all of the delicacies The Gauguin has to offer.
Dine at Chef Jean-Pierre Vigato’s oceanfront restaurant, La Veranda. Fill your plate at the breakfast and lunch buffets or sample an a la carte creation. Or make your reservations for a gourmet dinner inspired by the Polynesian destinations that surround you.
L'Etoile is The Gauguin’s main dining room, complete with fine linens, upscale décor, and delicate china. Spend your evening dining on exquisite dishes, perfectly paired with a complimentary glass of wine in this high-class restaurant.
If you’re searching for a more casual dining atmosphere, Le Grill is the place for you. Enjoy a buffet breakfast, a grilled lunch and afternoon tea and pastries. Then come back for dinner, reservations are required, and dine on Polynesian delicacies as you relax poolside.
