Cabin Options Detailed Cabin Options Onboard the Carnival Magic

All rooms on board the Carnival Magic cruise ship include a TV, telephone, in-room safe, hairdryer, minibar, bathroom with shower, bathrobes, writing desk, ample closet and dresser space and Carnival Comfort Collection linens. Most staterooms also include a living area with a sofa, armchairs and coffee table.

There are more than 15 different room and suite options to choose from on the Carnival Magic. Room selections include a variety of economically priced interior rooms, ocean view rooms, cabins with balconies and luxurious suites with upgraded amenities.

Interior Staterooms are 185 sq ft, have a living area with a chair and coffee table, three storage closets and offer economy cruising for one to two passengers.

Interior Staterooms (Bunk Beds) are 185 sq ft, feature a small living area with a chair and coffee table and have both a twin bed and either an upper Pullman-style bunk bed or a sleeper sofa to sleep up to three passengers.  

Interior Picture Window Staterooms are 185 sq ft, have a picture window looking out to the public observation deck, three closets to store all your gear, and while most of these rooms sleep two guests, staterooms with a sofa bed have room for up to four passengers.

Cloud 9 Spa Interior Staterooms are 185 sq ft, have three closets, a living area with sofa and coffee table, feature priority access to all services and treatments at the ship’s Cloud 9 Spa and offer room for two to four guests.

Port Hole Staterooms, with 220 sq ft of living space, feature two small porthole windows for viewing the ocean and have either two twin-size beds or a king-size bed with room for two to three guests.

Ocean View Staterooms are 220 sq ft, offer spectacular views of the ocean, have a living area complete with a sofa and coffee table, plenty of storage space and offer space for two to three passengers.

Cloud 9 Spa Ocean View Staterooms are 220 sq ft, have a picture window facing the public observation deck, a living area with a sofa bed and coffee table, two twin beds or a king-size bed and sleep three to four guests. These staterooms include special access and priority reservations to Cloud 9 Spa.

Deluxe Ocean View Staterooms are the perfect option for guests traveling with large families. At 230 sq ft, these rooms sleep up to five guests, have two twin beds that convert to a king-size bed, two upper bunk beds, a large picture window, three closets and a separate washroom with it’s own sink and junior tub.

Balcony Staterooms have 185 sq ft of space and have a private 35 sq ft balcony, two twin beds or a king-size bed, sleep up to four passengers and have a comfortable living area where you can hang out and relax with friends and family.

Cove Balcony Staterooms are 185 sq ft, have a 45 sq ft balcony, come with either two twin beds or a king-size bed, three closets, a living area with a sofa and coffee table and sleep two to four guests.

Aft-View Extended Balcony Staterooms are 185 sq ft with a large, 60 sq ft aft-facing balcony and offer plenty of closet space to store all your gear. These rooms, with space for two to three guests, have a comfortable seating area that includes a sofa and coffee table.

Enjoy spectacular ocean views from the private 35 sq ft balcony of the Cloud 9 Spa Balcony Staterooms, which have 185 sq ft of space, three closets, a living area with a sofa and coffee table and two twin-size or a king-size bed. Rooms that have a sofa bed or bunk beds sleep up to four guests. Cloud 9 Spa staterooms include unlimited use of the spa’s thermal suite and thalassotherapy seawater pool.

Premium Vista Balcony Staterooms sleep up to two guests, have 185 sq ft of space and a huge 75 sq ft balcony that wraps around the aft corners of the cruise ship. These rooms also include three closets and a living area with a sofa and coffee table.

Junior Suites are 275 sq ft, have a 35 sq ft balcony, two twin-size or a king-size bed and offer luxurious living at an affordable price for up to three guests. Junior suites also include a walk-in dressing area, vanity table, double sinks and a whirlpool tub.

Ocean Suites are 275 sq ft with large 65 sq ft balconies, have a fully furnished living area and accommodate up to four guests depending on the exact furniture configuration. Ocean suites include upgrades such as a walk-in dressing area with vanity, double sinks, a whirlpool tub and VIP check-in.

Cloud 9 Spa Suites are 275 sq ft, have a 65 sq ft balcony, walk-in dressing area with vanity table, living area with a sofa, armchair and coffee table, a whirlpool tub and double sinks. These suites have either two twin or one king-size bed, room for up to three guests and feature priority access to the ship’s spa amenities.

Grand Suites have an incredible 345 sq ft of living space, plus an 85 sq ft balcony, feature a living area with a sofa, arm chairs and coffee table, a whirlpool tub, double sinks, bidet plus a walk-in dressing area with vanity table and chair. Grand suites have either two twin-size or a king-size bed and suites that include either a single or double sofa bed sleep up to three or four guests.


Activities on Board Entertainment & Activities Onboard the Carnival Magic

Squeeze in a workout with ocean views at the fitness center, or challenge yourself to the ropes course at Sportsquare. Dining Options Dining Options on the Carnival Magic

When it’s time to dine, Carnival Magic offers a wide array of delicious options, including Asian fare at Mongolian Wok, Mexican favorites at BlueIguana Cantina, small bites at The Taste Bar, various casual dining options and so much more. Room service is available 24-hours a day for private, in-room dining on your discount Carnival cruise.

The dining options in the Lido Marketplace offer passengers a variety of ethnic and continental cuisine including the Burrito Bar, NY-style Deli and the Mongolian Wok.

Chef’s Table, offered on all ships from Carnival Cruise Lines, offers a unique dining experience, but space is limited. Tour the ships galley and see what’s involved in making food for over 3,000 guests. The Carnival Magic’s head chef will host this delicious, multi-course dinner, which costs $75 per person.

The Grand Buffet, on the Lido deck, serves all-you-can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Off the Grill, by the main pool, serves breakfast, lunch and snacks until 6 p.m.

Enjoy classic brunch creations, like eggs benedict, fat stack pancakes and huevos rancheros at Seaday Brunch.

Dine on classic Italian cuisine at Cucina Del Capitano. The pasta bar is free and open for lunch from noon until 2:30 p.m. Enjoy a family style dinner, including selections like chicken parmigiano and risotto, for a $15 per person surcharge.

Northern Lights, open for dinner service, is the smaller of the two main dining rooms. Fixed dinner seatings are either 6 p.m. or 8:15 p.m., while guests choosing Your Time Dining can eat anytime between 5:45 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
